Founder’s Message
founder and president
LARDIN was founded in 2021 with a commitment to turning community needs into meaningful action.
The organization grew from a vision of creating practical opportunities for individuals and communities to overcome barriers to education, economic opportunity, health, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion.
From its roots in Cameroon, LARDIN has developed community-focused initiatives addressing women and girls’ empowerment, education, youth engagement, health and sanitation, food security, environmental protection, waste management, and community resilience.
Today, LARDIN is expanding its presence from its Maryland base in the United States while continuing to build partnerships and implement community-led initiatives in Cameroon and beyond.
Our growth reflects a simple belief:
Development starts with action—and lasting change starts with people.
