Theme: Our Power. Our Planet. Our Future. 🌍💚

On April 22, 2025, The Legacy Action and Royal Development Initiatives (LARDIN) Cameroon joined communities around the world in commemorating World Earth Day 2025 under the theme “Our Power, Our Planet.”

🌱 Empowering Young Environmental Stewards.

The workshop was designed to:

Inspire Creative Thinking: Encourage children to explore environmental challenges and develope creative ideas for protecting nature.

Foster Planetary Responsibility: Help children understand that everyone has a role to play in caring for the environment and preserving our planet for future generations.

Develop Artistic Skills and Self-Expression: Use art and creative activities as tools for children to communicate their ideas, concerns, and hopes for a healthier planet.

Promote Sustainability: Introduce children to practical, eco-friendly habits and sustainable practices they can apply at home, at school, and within their communities.

Through learning, creativity, and meaningful participation, the program sought to nurture a generation of environmentally conscious young people who understand that small actions can contribute to meaningful change.

At LARDIN, we believe that environmental protection begins with knowledge, awareness, and community action. By engaging children at an early age, we are investing in future environmental leaders who can champion sustainable practices and inspire positive change within their families and communities.

The World Earth Day workshop reflects LARDIN’s commitment to environmental education, youth empowerment, sustainability, and community-led action.

Together, we can empower the next generation with the knowledge, creativity, and responsibility needed to protect our planet and build a healthier, greener, and more resilient future.
