On 16th July 2026, The Legacy Action and Royal Development Initiatives (LARDIN) conducted a solidarity visit to the Community-Based Association for Disabilities Empowerment (COBADE) in Tiko, Cameroon.

The visit was carried out alongside our collaborator, Mr. Joshua Berglan, and in the presence of distinguished guests, including a representative from the Delegation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises .[SMEs]

Purpose of the Visit
This engagement went beyond an introductory meeting. It reaffirmed LARDIN’s commitment to disability inclusion, food security, health, and community empowerment.

As part of the visit, LARDIN donated food supplies to COBADE as a gesture of solidarity and support for members living with disabilities.

Key Highlights

  1. Listening and Learning: We engaged directly with COBADE members and heard powerful testimonies of resilience, courage, and determination. Despite significant challenges, their commitment to self-reliance and community continues to inspire.
  2. Message of Hope: Mr. Joshua Berglan addressed the community with a message of love and encouragement. He further pledged to leverage his platform to advocate for people with disabilities and to help mobilize resources for urgently needed medical equipment, assistive devices, and essential support services.
  3. Partnership for Inclusion: The presence of the SME Delegation representative underscored the importance of inclusive economic development and creating opportunities for persons with disabilities to participate fully in society.

LARDIN extends sincere appreciation to Mr. Joshua Berglan for his compassion and to the SME Delegation for their support.
