The Legacy Action and Royal Development Initiatives (LARDIN) successfully conducted a community awareness and outreach event in Mabeta Njanga, Limbe, aimed at educating and empowering community members on public health, environmental protection, and social safety issues.The activity brought together community members, youth, local leaders, and volunteers, creating an interactive platform for learning, dialogue, and collective action.

Key Results and Outcomes.
1. WASH Awareness Improved
- Participants received practical information on: Safe water usage and storage, Proper sanitation practices, Personal and household hygiene to prevent disease
- Community members demonstrated improved understanding of how WASH practices contribute to healthier families and reduced illness.
2. Increased Knowledge on Waste Management & Sustainability.
- The session emphasized: Proper waste segregation and disposal, Environmental protection in coastal communities, Community responsibility in maintaining a clean living and working environment.
- Participants expressed commitment to reducing indiscriminate waste disposal and supporting future clean-up initiatives.
3. Awareness Raised on Human
- Trafficking & Substance Abuse the outreach successfully: Educated participants on the dangers and warning signs of human trafficking, Highlighted the impact of substance abuse on youth and families, Encouraged prevention, reporting, and community Vigilance youth and parents actively participated in discussions, showing strong interest in continued awareness programs.
4. Strong Community Participation and Engagement.
