The Legacy Action and Royal Development Initiatives (LARDIN) participated in the first edition of the Soccer Tournament organized by the Chiefdom of Mokindi Isokolo Village.

Leveraging the halftime interval, our team addressed players, dignitaries, and community members on key social, environmental, and public health initiatives.

Our intervention focused on three pillars:

1. Child Protection and Gender Equity: We led sensitization on safeguarding children as they return to school and taking collective action against gender-based violence and femicide.

2. Waste Management and Civic Recognition: In line with our _Clean Limbe, Green Cameroon_ initiative, we advocated for sustainable waste management. We formally extended our sincere gratitude to the Lord Mayor of Limbe, Dr. Paul Efome Ngale, for recognizing our work, authorizing support, and distributing trash bins across the community. As a token of appreciation, LARDIN presented Mayor Ngale with an official project T-shirt.

3. Public Health and Preventive Care: We educated and sensitized attendees on diabetes prevention and cardiovascular health management.

Free On-Site Health Outreach

In partnership with Hillcrest Clinic, LARDIN facilitated free medical screenings for community members, covering blood glucose monitoring, blood pressure checks, BMI/weight evaluations, and malaria testing.
