LARDIN Presents Climate Resilience Project to MINEPDED in Limbe, on the 21st of July, 2026.

The 21st of July, 2026 marked an important milestone for The Legacy Action and Royal Development Initiatives (LARDIN).

Our team officially presented our proposed Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Project to the Divisional Delegate of the Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development [MINEPDED], Limbe.

During the presentation, we shared the full scope of the project:

  1. The Vision: A cleaner, healthier, and climate-resilient Limbe
  2. The Objectives: Strengthen climate resilience, promote environmental stewardship, and protect natural resources
  3. Target Communities: Neighborhoods across Limbe most vulnerable to climate impacts
  4. Expected Impact: Improved community well-being, waste management, and environmental education
  5. Implementation Strategy: Community-led actions, partnerships, and regular monitoring.

Every part of this project is designed to put people and the planet first.

Government Support and Encouragement.

We are deeply honored by the warm reception and constructive guidance we received from the Divisional Delegate.

The Delegate commended the initiative, describing it as _"a very good project"_, and encouraged LARDIN to keep developing innovative environmental programs that will benefit communities throughout Cameroon.

This endorsement strengthens our resolve. It reminds us that when government, civil society, and communities work together, real change is possible.

Our Commitment: Collaboration and Accountability

As implementation begins, LARDIN commits to working closely with MINEPDED through:

  1. Regular project updates
  2. Joint monitoring and evaluation
  3. Full transparency and accountability in delivery.

We believe protecting our environment is not the job of one organization. It is a shared responsibility.

Together, we can build cleaner neighborhoods, healthier communities, and a more climate-resilient future for generations to come.

Join Us on This Journey 🤝

We invite government institutions, development partners, corporate organizations, community leaders, volunteers, and individuals who share our vision to partner with us.

Climate challenges are real. But so are the opportunities to turn them into sustainable development for Limbe and beyond.
Together, we can make a difference.
Together, we can protect our planet.
