LARDIN Joins Limbe City Council and HYSACAM for Official Trash Bin Launch Ceremony on the 28th of July, 2026.

Today, The Legacy Action and Royal Development Initiatives [LARDIN] was officially represented at the launching ceremony for the distribution of HYSACAM trash bins, held at the Limbe City Council Main Building.

The invitation to attend was extended by the Limbe City Council, and we are deeply honored to be recognized as a partner in advancing environmental sustainability and community development in our city.

Partnering for Impact

Our presence at the ceremony reflects a shared vision: cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable communities across Limbe.

We are grateful to His Worship the City Mayor and the Limbe City Council for their leadership and for the confidence placed in LARDIN. This milestone is a clear signal that government, civil society, and service providers can achieve more when we work together.

At LARDIN, we proudly reaffirm our commitment to supporting the City Council through our flagship campaign: “Clean Limbe, Green Cameroon.”

Through this campaign, and with our dedicated volunteers, partners, and community members, we will continue to focus on:

  1. Proper waste management at household and community levels
  2. Environmental education and public awareness
  3. Active community participation in keeping Limbe clean

What’s Next: From City to Community

As we prepare to launch our pilot waste management project in Mukindi Isokolo Village, today’s event strengthens our resolve.

We look forward to deepening collaboration with:

  1. Limbe City Council
  2. HYSACAM
  3. Traditional authorities
  4. Community leaders and stakeholders

Together, we will ensure that new infrastructure like these trash bins are matched with community ownership, education, and consistent action for lasting impact.

We sincerely thank His Worship the City Mayor, the Limbe City Council, and HYSACAM for this important milestone for our city.

This is more than the distribution of bins. It is an investment in public health, dignity, and the future of Limbe.

Together, we can build a cleaner, greener, and healthier Limbe for present and future generations.
