Commitment Beyond the Weather.

Yesterday, August 5, 2026, even amidst the rain, the LARDIN – Legacy Action and Royal Development Initiatives team was on the ground at Mokindi Isokolo Village Stadium. 

Our mission was clear: to sensitize young people on the importance of proper waste management not just at the stadium, but throughout our communities.

Why Youth, Why Now
Young people are the heartbeat of every community. When they understand the impact of their actions, they become champions of change. 

During the sensitization, we engaged students and youth on practical ways to: 
1. Keep public spaces clean– starting with where we play and gather 

2. Dispose waste properly– reducing litter that blocks drains and pollutes the environment 

3. Take ownership – because a clean community is a healthy community

No Rain Can Stop the Work
At LARDIN, we believe that *no weather can stop our commitment* to building cleaner, healthier, and greener communities. The rain could not dampen the energy, the questions, or the willingness of the young people who showed up to learn and act.
