Community Clean-Up Drive – Marriott Inn Street, Mokindi Isokolo, 27th of August, 2026.

Despite heavy rain and mud, the LARDIN team and local residents united for a successful clean-up drive in Mokindi Isokolo, transforming a littered street into a clean and healthy public space.

On August 27, 2026, the weather tested our resolve, but our commitment to a cleaner community proved stronger.

The LARDIN team, alongside passionate residents Marriot Inn Stree of Mokindi Isokolo village, hit the ground for a community clean-up drive on Marriott Inn Street, Limbe.

Using our proven 3-Step Community Transformation Journey, we achieved lasting impact:

1. Sensitization: We engaged households and passersby on proper waste disposal, waste sorting, and the health risks of indiscriminate dumping of plastics.

2. Action: Braving the rain, our team and volunteers rolled up their sleeves to clear trash, rubbish, and harmful plastics blocking drainages and littering the street.

3. Transformation: The result was immediate and visible - from cluttered, waterlogged paths to a pristine, revitalized, and safe public space.

This activity aligns with LARDIN's WASH and Waste Management pillar, promoting a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment.

Key Achievements:
1. Sensitization Activities

A total of 15 sensitization engagements were conducted along the main street of Mokindi, Isokolo. This comprised 1 household sensitization and 14 business-owner engagements.
